We are here to help you

We offer a wide range of services to children with and without a diagnosis. We have worked with children with a range of conditions such as Developmental Coordination Disorder, Autism, ADHD, ADD, Sensory Processing Challenges, Downs Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Developmental Delay, Specific Learning Difficulties, Dyspraxia, Dyslexia, Dysgraphia and various genetic/ developmental syndromes. We at Cavan Children's Occupational Therapy feel that all children despite their diagnosis deserves the right to achieve their full potential. With don't focus on their diagnosis, rather what they want to achieve and do despite their diagnosis.

BABIES

Becoming a new parent is tough going. Never mind the added worry of being aware of your babies developmental milestones and what they should be doing when and how. Don't worry we are here to help! We offer consultations, assessments and interventions for all babies and toddlers. Whether you are concerned they aren't rolling, sitting up or reaching for toys. Perhaps they scream the house down when getting their hair washed or teeth brushed? Problems with settling & sleeping?Whatever your concern we are here to help.

TODDLERS

Toddlers, the terrible twos and everything in between. Being a toddler is a tricky time for everyone involved. Sometimes our wee people are actually trying to tell us something is wrong or they are finding something hard.   Is your child struggling to pick up a crayon? Not meeting their developmental milestones? Are they fearful of playground equipment? Has the play-school reported that they avoid all the messy play activities? Perhaps they are struggling to propel their trikes? Are they struggling to use cutlery? Problems sleeping?
